Can I bring a date?
Due to limited space, we are only able to accomodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you recieved a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP.
Are kids welcome?
Invitations will be specific and will include the name of the children who are invited. However, as much as we love your littile ones, we encourage you to use this evening as a "date" night for yourself.
What should I wear?
We would love you to dress up with us! We are requesting formal/black tie optional for our evening. No jeans, please! More information on dress code is listed under the events tap.
Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?
The ceremony and reception will be located at the same venue. The ceremony will take place outdoors (weather permitting), located left of The Farmstead. Cocktail hour and the reception will be located in The Farmstead, just feet from where the ceremony takes place.
Where should guests park? Is parking free?
Parking is free! When coming down the road onto Kent Island Resort, to the right there is a large parking lot. You may park in any space in the parking lot. Cars can be left overnight but we please ask that you get your car the next morning.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony - meaning no phones or cameras. The greateset gift you can give us is to be fully present as we say our I do's. We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us, so please allow them to do their best work. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!
What should I do if I cannot make it?
You will be dearly missed! If you can not make it, please let us know ASAP and respond "no" on your RSVP, so that we can plan accordingly. Thank you!
